The End

The time has finally come, the end of an era, the end of Smite 1 Datamining. It’s time to let it go, but at least we’re lucky the reason is because Smite 2 has taken all attention.

This adventure started 11 years ago, in 2013.. just after Hi-Rez banned my first account due to their scanning service detected software they didn’t like while the game was shut down. This made me investigate through the files and then it became, eventually, a reddit post.

Then it became the smite subreddit drama when they decided to ban datamining, so it moved to SmiteUncensored (what a ride!) until they unbanned and went back to main Smite subreddit. Sadly, the first posts are deleted, so this is the first one that remains, when Chaac and Kali V2 appeared.

1 Year after, in 2014, we finally started running this site and, since then, we’ve datamined all patches during 10 years! This is just awesome.

But none of this would have been possible without you all, the datamining readers. Thank you all for everything, for making this site the #1 datamining source, it’s awesome to see how the information is spread in a few days through the whole smite community (even tho there are some groups that publish the info as theirs and avoid warning people it’s datamining).

Hopefully we can continue this adventure during other 10 years with the success of Smite 2 and who knows, we make this exact same post talking about Smite 3, wouldn’t that be awesome? haha
