[GUIDE] How to use old Mercury Run.exe voice

Almost nobody liked the recently changes to Mercury’s Run.exe voicepack since the first one was great. This guide will explain you how to use the old one (Safely).

Explaining the content

You will face 2 files with this, the VGS and VOX files.

• VGS: Voice pack (VA1,VER…)
• VOX: Sounds (Taunt, screams..)

This content is placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGames\smite\BattleGame\CookedPC\Sounds\INT?? (Change C: to any other drive if needed)

Macking a Backup

Copy and paste in a safe place the following files:

• VGS_Mercury_Skin2
• VOX_Mercury_Skin2

For security reasons, we have uploaded the new mercury’s voice packs, in the case anyone has deleted them by error: https://mega.co.nz/#!9pk2AQTa!uH-AkuTx3uQqjGaJfrQUM_Kf6p9W26cYdzbyPrcC7XQ

Once they are backed up in a safe place you can proceed to replace them

Download and replace old Mercury’s Run.exe

• old VGS
• old VOX

In order to use them, just drop the file(s) in C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGames\smite\BattleGame\CookedPC\Sounds\INT?? (Change C: to any other drive if needed) and agree to replace.

That’s all, now just open Smite and enjoy a real voice pack.
